A Place Between explores the space between landscape, memory and abstraction. Soft layers of blush, chalky neutrals and muted blue-grey are interrupted by deeper, gestural marks, creating a sense of movement against stillness. Areas are built up, scraped back and partially obscured, allowing fragments of earlier layers to remain visible. Inspired by gathered glimpses of landscape, sea and weathered surfaces, the painting doesn't belong to one particular place. Instead, it captures the feeling of somewhere half remembered — a place between what is seen and what is felt. Measurements are 61x52cm unframed.
