After painting the more vibrant life paintings, I created this one.
I don't know where it came from but it flowed like I couldn't believe, I added some mixed media back in to the background, as I always have a thing for texture & have been wanting to work it back in again.
After painting the figure I went on to work even more layers & got even more interesting marks in there.
I am delighted with the outcome & I love how the colour palette is so different from the previous paintings.

    Inspired by the quiet warmth of an evening sky, this atmospheric abstract landscape explores rich merlot, blush and deep crimson tones as they drift across the horizon.
