'Celebration of Life' - Proteas Flower Painting

I painted this heartfelt original painting of Protea flowers to portray symbolisation of resilience, natural beauty & enduring strength.

The colours are not my normal go-to palette but I really enjoyed painting this piece. I like the warm, glowing atmosphere the background creates yet the blooms are soft in pinks and warm tones.

To me it is a powerful juxtaposition, while painted with delicate flowing brushstrokes that emphasise their gentle beauty, Proteas are resilient blooms, symbolising courage, transformation & the ability to thrive in challenging conditions.
