I like the contrast of the calm blush pinks against the dark moody background, I think it makes the Protea deliberately graceful looking.
I really enjoyed creating the dynamic movements in the background, another contrast with the flower looking grounded amongst the chaos. Hence the name 'Resilience', maintaining beauty despite external challenges.
I think this piece evokes both vulnerability & strength!
