Undercurrent explores the quieter feelings that sit beneath the surface. Layers of soft blush, muted teal and earthy tones have been built up, rubbed back and allowed to show through again, revealing traces of what came before. Loose brushstrokes and delicate scratched marks create movement across the painting, while the softer, more open areas offer moments of stillness. There is a sense of something gently shifting within the work—partly hidden, but always present. Calm in places and more restless in others. Undercurrent invites you to pause, look more closely and gradually discover the marks and fragments held within its layers. It measures 80x80cm to the edges of the frame. Please note this is a one of a kind artwork & the colours may vary from what you see on your screen.
