Part of my Places Felt Rather Than Seen collection, this painting explores memory, atmosphere and the emotional resonance of place. Layers of deep teal, soft blue and warm neutral tones create a landscape that is sensed rather than observed, where forms emerge and dissolve like fragments of a distant memory. Through translucent layers, expressive marks and fluid drips, I am interested in capturing the feeling of shifting weather, changing light and the quiet spaces between land, sea and sky. Rather than representing a specific location, this work invites the viewer to connect with their own memories and experiences of place. 76x100cm Unframed.
