In this piece, I wanted to capture the feeling of the sea rather than its appearance — the shifting moods, quiet power and sense of freedom that draws us back to the water time and time again. Layers of soft grey and blue drift across the surface like passing weather, while deeper turquoise tones emerge beneath, suggesting hidden depths and the ever-changing nature of the coastline. Sweeps of white light move across the horizon, creating moments of luminosity and calm amid the movement. For me, this painting is about connection — to place, to memory, and to those fleeting moments when the sea seems to hold both energy and stillness at once. It is an invitation to pause, breathe, and become immersed in the atmosphere of the coast. 60x60cm Framed.
