Green Series No. 1 explores the meeting point between structure and intuition. Built through layered washes, expressive marks, and areas of dense texture, the painting evolved through a process of uncovering and responding rather than following a predetermined path. Soft blue-greens and muted neutrals create a sense of depth and movement, while darker passages anchor the composition and suggest forms that are only partially revealed. Fleeting traces, scratches, drips, and fragments of colour emerge and disappear across the surface, inviting the viewer to discover their own narrative within the work.
