In this piece I explore the gentle space between movement and stillness, where memory drifts like light across water. Soft veils of deep blue-green and muted blush tones create an atmosphere that feels both expansive and intimate, while two lilies rest quietly on the surface, appearing and disappearing through layers of paint. Rather than depicting a specific place, the painting evokes a feeling — a moment of calm, reflection, and pause. The lilies become small points of light within the landscape, symbols of resilience and quiet beauty that remain steady amidst shifting waters.
