In this piece I am exploring the space between movement and calm — that quiet moment where light softens, time slows, and stillness seems to drift gently through the landscape. Painted intuitively in layered acrylic and mixed media, I wanted to balance expressive mark-making with softer passages of light and atmosphere, allowing forms to emerge rather than be fully defined. Subtle texture, washes and delicate accents create a sense of depth and quiet energy. Part of my ‘Places Felt Rather Than Seen’ collection, this painting is inspired not by a specific place, but by atmosphere, memory and the feeling a place leaves behind — remembered light, shifting air and moments of calm carried with us. Original acrylic and mixed media on canvas, finished with an archival matt varnish for protection. 121.5 × 91 cm Unframed Please note this is a one-of-a-kind original artwork and colours may vary slightly depending on screen settings.
An original acrylic and mixed media painting created on professional-quality canvas using artist-grade materials.
Each piece is part of an ongoing exploration of place, memory and atmosphere, where colour, texture and gesture come together to create works that are felt rather than seen.
